Kapwing
Kapwing is a collaborative video editor for teams and creators, offering AI tools and subtitles.
About
Kapwing
Kapwing is where teams go to make videos together—think Google Docs but for video editing. Everything's in your browser, multiple people can jump in, and you've got all the tools you'd expect: timeline editing, auto-subtitles, background removal, templates, the works. It's built for the modern creator who's always collaborating and never in the same room.
The downside of living in the cloud? Big files and complex projects might make it choke. Your internet better be solid, or you're in for a frustrating time. And while it's got tons of features, it's not quite at the "I'm editing the next Marvel movie" level. Perfect for teams cranking out social content, maybe not for your passion project. What's more important to you: collaborating in real-time or having unlimited processing power? If you need a powerful yet simple AI video editor that works seamlessly online, there are alternatives worth exploring.

Pictory
Pictory.ai is an AI tool that turns scripts or long videos into short, branded clips—perfect for content repurposing.
About
Pictory
Pictory.ai turns your written content into video—no camera required. Drop in a blog post, script, or long-form video and it builds a complete piece using AI voiceovers, stock footage, captions, and smart scene editing. It’s built for marketers, bloggers, and business owners who need video content but don’t want to be on camera. It’s a solid solve for the “I have words but no footage” problem.
That automation comes with a trade-off: generic stock visuals and flat narration can creep in if you don’t step in and personalize. The AI’s stock selection might miss your brand tone, and the voiceovers can feel a little robotic. For best results, you’ll want to customize with your own visuals or sprinkle in branded b-roll. If you're after scale, Pictory delivers. Just know it works best when you bring your own creative seasoning to the mix.

I use Kapwing for subtitling. It is brilliant. It transcribes audio as accurately as any other program... Learning to use the subtitle function took only a few hours.
Kapwing is such a great tool for editing videos and creating content. It's super easy to use... The free version has so much to offer, and the paid plans are totally worth it.
SCAM! sketchy schemes .. they would force you first to sign up, then they wont allow you to use the service unless you subscribe... They do not explain that before hand.

I was able to navigate throughout the platform fairly easily. I loved the process, but the only thing I didn't like was the watermark at the end of my videos...almost forces you to pay for a plan. Other than that I've already told others about Pictory.
The interface is easy to navigate but AI video in general has a long way to go. It generates very generic images but if you work with it you can make it work.
It could have a huge potential, but it is full of bugs,it is very slow, you can't work with it,even the simplest things don't work.
